Thank you for choosing Rock & Anchor. To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience, please read the following terms before you book. Your understanding and cooperation help us maintain a unique and harmonious village environment for all guests.

Before you book

Village stay experience: this is a rural camping and village stay, not a luxury hotel. Guests will experience authentic village life, including its simplicity and charm.
Limited services: food delivery services like Swiggy or Zomato are not available. Essentials are sourced from the nearest town, about 10 km away.

Pricing categories

Adults: age 18 and above.
Teenagers: age 13 to 18.
Children: age 3 to 12.
Students: special rates are available with a valid student ID.
Children under 3 stay free, but no additional bedding will be provided.
Age related discounts or special rates require valid ID proof at check in.
Group bookings with mixed age groups are charged on individual category rates.

After you book

Rescheduling, cancellation, medical and refund terms are set out in our Cancellation and Refunds policy.

Arrival

Health protocols will be followed as per government recommendations at the time of the trip.

Drivers, staff and nannies

Separate lodging, boarding and food is available for drivers, staff or nannies at ₹1,000 per person.
If a nanny stays with the child in a tent and uses guest facilities, they will be charged as a full paying guest.

Pets

We welcome friendly pets who can coexist peacefully with the resident animals at our village properties, including dogs, buffaloes, hens and roosters.

Guest behaviour

We reserve the right to refuse entry or accommodation to guests whose behaviour disrupts the comfort and safety of others.

At the campsite

We maintain a tranquil environment and generally do not allow very loud music. Please check with us for special arrangements.
The campsite has no electricity. Please charge your devices at the host home during meal times and carry a power bank.
Ola and Uber are not reliable. Please book your transport beforehand. We can share numbers for rickshaws and taxis.
There is limited mobile network in the village, so please let your family know once you have arrived.

Waste and sustainability

There is no municipal waste management in the village. All trash generated during your visit is either responsibly disposed of or carried back to Mumbai for processing. Please bring food in reusable containers to minimise waste.

Indemnity

Rock & Anchor shall not be responsible for any delays or alterations in the programme, or expenses incurred directly or indirectly, due to natural hazards, accidents, breakdown of equipment or transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
Rock & Anchor shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person or property in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from any act of God, fire, accident, breakdown of machinery, equipment or transport, civil disturbances, strikes, theft, wildlife, epidemics, regulations, or any other causes beyond our control.
Rock & Anchor does not hold insurance covering accident, sickness, theft or other loss. Guests are advised to arrange their own insurance. All baggage and personal property are at the guest's risk at all times.
By choosing to travel with Rock & Anchor, guests acknowledge that Rock & Anchor and its employees, subcontractors and suppliers do not accept liability for any damage or loss of property, or injury (fatal or otherwise). This applies to the accommodation and to any activities in the surrounding land.
